Alan is responsible for developing and implementing greenhouse gas emission reduction offsets in developing countries under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the United Nations adopted Kyoto Protocol. Prior to joining Forest Systems, Mr. Bishop was director of corporate strategy for AgCert and senior vice present of XL Vision, Inc., a technology incubator that founded and developed businesses that could be ready to take to the public marketplace. Alan was a member of a four person senior team that made ultimate decisions of opportunities to create, fund and staff new technology companies that has resulted in two IPO’s in five years. He has extensive corporate finance and executive management experience with five start-up companies in all stages of development. He received a B.S. Degree in Engineering from Syracuse University and attended the Executive MBA program at Stanford University. Alan has served on boards of both private and public companies.
